The master‘s thesis concerns about the freestanding multipurpose sport hall with a base for sportsmen and spectators and its associated sport and regeneration centre. The object is situated in a city district Brno Bohunice. The designed building is divided into a single storey multipurpose sport hall and an outbuilding with two above-ground floors and a partial third floor above the entrance part of the building. Object’s plan shape forms a rectangle with recessed entrance part. The load-bearing structure consists of a combined column and wall construction system. The main multipurpose hall is roofed with arched glulam laminated trusses, which are supported by steel columns covered by sandwich panels. The outbuilding’s vertical load-bearing structure is formed by clay blocks. The horizontal load-bearing structure is formed by prestressed concrete floor slab. The building is based on shallow foundations. The object is designed to be barrier-free for sportsmen and visitors as well.

The sport hall in Třeboň

The aim of bachelor´s thesis is design and assessment of bearing structure two-aisle multipurpose sports hall in Třeboň, which is designed from timber or steel. The main aisle is rectangular floor plan 26x45 m. The proportions of secondary aisle are 10x43 m. The main bearing structure causes as a frame or saddle truss supported by columns. Solid frame is made from steel, glued-laminated timber truss is solid, frame truss is made from solid timber or steel. Steel structure is made from steel S235, timber structure is made from solid C24 or glued-laminated GL24h timber. Purlin is designed from solid timber or steel.Columns are designed from glued-laminated timber or steel. Static analysis has been accomplished by student version of the SCIA Engineer 2011 software.

The theme of master’s thesis is the newly built sports center in Rosice. This work aids to develop design documents for building construction. The building is partial basement, four-storey. The building is designed of systém Heluz with cast-in-place reinforced concrete floors. The roof construction is single-flat, over part of the building is composed of timber truss Gang-nail. In the building there is the bar with bowling alley, squash, small multipurpose sports hall, fitness room, table tennis and spinning. In the basement are designed three saunas. Tennis courts with playground are outside next to the building.

Work in this technological project is included the following elements: inspection and test plan, technological standard, technical reports, the financial plan, the timetable, principles of organization development, budget, maintenance and service life, energy label of the building envelope.

Subject of this thesis is to design and evaluate the multipurpose sports hall for a permanent,climate and traffic load. Light range of construction is 42,900 m, clear height at its highest point is 10,824 m. The construction is located in Brno. The main load-bearing elements of constructionare two-juncture arcs of constant cross-section of glued laminated timber class GL24h, axially remote 3,000 m. Trusses are transversely connected by purlins from solid wood for strengthclass C20 axially remote 1,100 m. The entire construction is braced by four transverse bracing,consisting of a rods system.

The building offers three squash courts, a fitness center, snack bar, sauna with massage. The entire building is expected movement of persons with reduced mobility. The roof is flat and angled wooden beam. Entrance doors and window are Aluminium
